Rising 9th Graders
We are so excited that you have decided to pursue theatre at North Springs High School! As an established performing arts magnet program, we have a history of high-quality productions and dedication to helping you develop your skills and hone your talent on stage and off.
We are currently working to refocus and refine the program to provide even more opportunities for student growth. We are proud of our reputation for producing highly qualified artists, and we can't wait for you to be part of that group.
What to Take?
Incoming freshmen with no prior experience should enroll in Acting 1 and/or Technical Theatre depending on their area(s) of interest. These courses are designed to provide an introduction to their respective areas.
Acting 1: performance techniques and being onstage
Technical Theatre: design/production techniques and being backstage
Acting 1 students have the opportunity to audition for the Advanced Drama company at the end of the school year.
