Rising 9th Graders
We are so excited that you have decided to pursue theatre at North Springs High School. As an established performing arts magnet program, we have a history of high quality productions and dedication to helping you develop your skills and hone your talent on stage and off.

We are currently working to refocus and refine the program to provide even more opportunities for student growth. Our reputation for producing highly qualified artists is something we are proud of and we can't wait for you to be a part of that group.
What to Take?
Incoming freshman with no prior experience should enroll in Fundamentals of Theatre.
This course is designed to provide an introduction to all aspects of theatre from acting and history to design and construction.

Incoming freshman accepted into the VPA magnet program should enroll in both Fundamentals of Theatre OR Audition for the Advanced Drama Company
Fundamentals of Theatre is a comprehensive course that dives into topics in both acting and technical theatre to provide a foundational knowledge of the art form.
