Mr. King has proudly been a Spartan since 2006 (3 years in grad school at Michigan State and now 10 years at North Springs.)  Prior to arriving at North Springs, he taught a variety of theatre courses and served at technical director at Northwest Mississippi Community College.  At Northwest, Mr. King received two meritorious achievement recognitions in directing from the American College Theatre Festival.

Mr. King serves as the Thespian Troupe director, curriculum leader for the Visual & Performing Art program, as well as, a support teacher for Fulton County.

​

His greatest joys are binge his favorite shows, finding new movies, listening to music recommended by his students, and spending time with his wife (Sam) & their children (Archer, Ember, and Elodie.)
